The income of citizenry increased steadily. In 2001, the total amount of employee's salary is ￥254,340,000, increased by 1.8% than the last year, the average salary of employee is ￥7,394, increased by 10.1%. The average net income of country denizen is ￥1,612, increased by 3.6% than the last year, the total payout for living of country denizen is ￥1,169, increased by 9.7%.

There 48 beds in the social welfare home, increased by 20% than the last year, the number of people who join the social basic endowment insurance reached 19,511, account for 55.6% of the total.
