In 2002, cultural department kept on insisting on the
policy of "two FORs" and "two HUMDREDs",
manage it while develop it, new achievements were achieved
continually.
By the end of 2003, there are 92 cinemas, 5 arts performing
groups, 33 cultural centers, 1 cultural object museum,
1 library, 1 theater, 1 broadcasting station, 1 medium
wave station, 1 TV station, 1 CATV station, 1 microwave
relay station, 72 satellite TV program incept station
and 33 town radio station. 33 towns were in the broadcasting
net, 681 villages of all in it. TV cover rate is 100%.

Literature
and art
Literature work get new achievements. 110 songs were
indited in the year, 3 of them were selected by voice
of the century of the national publishing company, the
lyric of what nice rain was selected by the "five
ONEs" project of the province, comic dialogue paean
of culture was performed, sketch heart of man traveling
far away from home, comic dialogue the new Silk Road,
songs life is better and better, etc. are reported to
the leadership and waiting for appraised. Modern times
painting and calligraphy florilegium of china have selected
6 painting and calligraphy works of our county, 4 of
them bear the palm in china, Japan, France and Korea
separately.

Citizen education
The innovation of education advanced completely,
ability education developed thorough, teacher group
grand continually. In 2001, there are 73 middle schools
with 47,874 students in them, entrance rate of junior
high school is 91.85%, and entrance rate of senior high
school is 63.61%. There are 290 elementary schools and
30 teaching stations with 66,324 students in them, entrance
rate of elementary school is 99.91%, there are 254 kindergartens
with 17,155 students in them, and there are 2 special
schools with 219 students in them.

By the end of 2001, there are 2,481 teachers in middle
schools, 2,935 teachers in elementary schools, 1,264
teachers in kindergartens and 47 teachers in special
schools.

of education establishment
Constructing of education establishment was improved;
the condition of running a school was also improved,
county finance payout for education reached ￥122,970,000,
increased by 32.3% than the last year. In this year,
there are schoolhouse of 31,169KM2 were new built,
1,520,000 books were add to the libraries, 4,685 computers
were equipped to schools. Adult education developed
thorough, there are 445 technical schools for adults
with 38,987 students in them, increased by 42.1% than
the last year; eliminate illiteracy by 461 adults.
